Newspaper Ad

Ad- Man seeking woman that’s independent, strong, attractive kids or no kids, grandchildren and must know how to win a man. That was the ad in my paper that’s in my mind and you answered with this response;

Ad- woman seeking a man that loves children first! A man who can love and sweep me off my feet! A man who is not afraid of a woman who is independent! A man who is not afraid to take the lead! A man who knows what it feels like to be in love and not the fact that you are in love with the fact of being in love. A man who makes me feel like everyday it gives me another reason to grab my phone and wait for a call.

I responded;
Ad- I am that man you speak of. I am that man who loves children. I am that man who will make you heart yearn for me. I am that man if I lead, follow me, if I hesitate push me, if I cross you let me go because loyalty is everything, death before dishonor. I am that man who brings love not hate, who brings love not pain, who brings pleasure not shame. The man who you see has less to lose and more to gain.

You responded;
I am a woman who don’t come that often in a lifetime. I am a woman who will show you how to love and that’s not a bad thing. I would show you trust and to love mentally. I am that woman whose children and grandchildren made you come alive all over again. I am that woman you can count on. I am that woman who has your back. I am that woman who will bring your wall down if it is up. I am that woman who will hold your deepest secrets with my life and love and make you understand that finance is good but romance is greater. The woman who makes you understand that your heart beats different when its love inside. I am that woman!

I got the paper today and seen that ad and I wrote a new ad;
Ad-Whoever or wherever you are, come to me, let’s meet, let me see your face, let me see your smile, let me listen to your voice, let me look into your eyes and see your truth , your pain, your good, your bad, your happy, your sad. Light, light, let me see your dreams so I can wake you up. Just let me in the front door, the back door, the middle or end’ Let me be your man, lover, consloler or friend. Let me be the food you take in, let me read your thoughts, let me get in the race because I want to begin.

So our ad reached other and I received one more ad;

My number is ***-***- ****
Call today, call tonight, call when you can, because I can’t lose.
Do you know why? You are the one, I am determined to win!!

Pure Woman

Within the quintessence of your soul
Lies the very thing that
Touches the core of the coldest heart
Its embrace within your presence
Glows from your aura
It even shows through your
Daring enchanting’ eyes
In your voice it can be heard….
Seen in your smile
It is the magnetism of your
Strength which draws
Beauty to your soul
That’s adore much
So my fair lady know that
You possess a strong spirit
The reason why you are
Pure woman!!!

Building for tomorrow

If this is life, I am not living it
Too much pain, sadness, alone, I just ain’t feeling it
Bad choices I made ‘em, the debt I’m paying it
Still I find peace in the concrete and steel
Can’t take my joy or my love because it’s real
Real in the friends I see each day
Real in my family, they’re here to stay
Real cause I know we’re finally arrived
The hand of the free and home of the brave?
Life behind bars cause I wouldn’t behave
A statue called liberty is a fraud to me
She’s lying through her teeth, a land of poverty
Poverty of faith, hope and love
Poverty in trust and all the above
Happiness found in a small child’s smile
Happiness in freedom through I took awhile
Happiness in a hug, an embrace from friend
Pastoring life, renewing liberty, happiness being a friend of a friend

True Words

Love is something I was knew was true
I always let it pass me by until I met you

Appreciation was not part of my life
Your husband took you for granted now he lost his wife

I opened your heart and operated on your soul
You made me understand it takes two halfs to make you whole

The whole point I am trying to make
I want to be with you mentally, spiritually and sexually for goodness sake

So if you want to this pleasure and not pain
Get with me and you best to believe I will make it rain

Five (5) Minutes

Five minutes until yesterday.
Five minutes from tomorrow.
Standing five whole minutes from happiness and sorrow.
The future lies in the past some say and when tomorrow becomes yesterday
We’ll be caught forever in today wishing we were still five minutes away.
Saying good-bye is hard to say, when forever is only five minutes away. Five minutes ago we had a choice.
But we took a chance and lost our voice.
In only five minutes life changed my view.
What was old, now is new
Like five minutes before clock out time.
As a chill creeps down my spine.
When a mere five minutes ago you were thinking how far you’d go.
You should what can happen in five minutes flow.
Five minutes more to contemplate might have changed my fate.
Consider what your gain would be.
Five minutes from eternity.
How long five minutes really last before the future becomes the past.

Pillow Talk With a Revolutionary

Radio lights and equalizing flashes lights the room
Perhaps you can get stolen glimpses
Of mahogany toned-redden skin intangled
Like thorny sticker- brower bushes
Between sweat dampened sheets
As honey dew and lavender scented candles flicker….
As heaving chest and deep breathing subdues
She whispers “ I love you” while writing my name with her fingers in my Sweaty chest hairs
With  light finger tips, I gently trace the contour of her indigenous hillside bottom
All the way down
Barely brushing her not so sweet spot behind her knees and answer
“That’s cool to love me, but be in love with the struggle“…..
Giving me flashbacks of a middle school teenage attitude
She purses up the prettiest lips
And roll those almond shape deep oak colored eyes
While repositioning herself
Further-deeper into my arm pit and rib cage
Suddenly, no longer a name in my chest hairs
But a sharp finger jabbing pain in my side
With the warm faint smell of cognac and kush
With hints of cinnamon spice exhales
Her languages suggests she didn't like my response....
Irritatingly amused, but equally annoyed at the
Rememberance and the actual attempt of her
School girl attitude
And since 80% of language is non-verbal
I deliberately cross my hands behind my head
Interlacing my fingers and uncoiled our
Legs so mines could cross
Body language accomplished....
Not even secondsafter she reads into my sign
She sinks deeper into her "around the way Homegirl"
Posture
Sucking her teeth and scowling up that seconds ago
Beautiful face
Her attemot at setting off into motion
That classical played out ghetto scene in full throttle now
Her next words are perfunctionary I know
Almost mandatory in the scene she acts out
"Boy, I hate you sometimes, you make me sick"
And snatches the once shared sheet as she rolls
Up into her emotional knot on her
Other side....
In a not to distant past
I would've given her what she wanted
And performed any characters part to the T
But nah, I am GODBODY now
That is the enactment of God's body of words and
Wisdom
And though when you 're dealing with the symboloical
Rib of man
Inflared passions thatsnatural is hard to suppress
But God is real
So I do what I does and demonstrate Godlyness
I lead.....
Taking single moments that feel like an eternity
To plot out my course of action
Spurred on by goshes of wind
That seems endless as the summer nights rain
Is ever present in our shared afrodisiac
Which seemingly arranged this love making session
The timing comes off right
Because speakers gingerly belts out the tunes and
Melody of
"Break Up to Make Up"
Followed by the words...
Silently I thank God, as I smile
Recognzing the irony and timing of this song
In my best baritoned voice
I softly sing the chorus
Not to her
And really not to me
But rather to the mood and atmosphere
It's crazy, because
Right beneath the music I hear her
And imagine tears staining the canvas I love to
Look at
Understanding perfectly well
That her scene has played its course
Now she is back to raw vulnerability of her
Honest feelings
She feels as if they are out there
By themselves on a single limb.....
I say her name
No response
I reach under her sheet and stroke her rib side
She flinches as my touch re-adjustens to her skin
Electricity
Pure estactic at that moments touch
The elasticity of manly function
Takes place as I position myself to spooning behind her
Feeling the need to just touch and grab hold
I know someone in heaven is smiling
Because the timing is right again as the song "For the Love That I Give to You"
Chimes in and almost as a whisper
She backs her warmth up against my warmth
And says "hold me"
I nestle us under the sheets and the pillows and talk
Slowly dragging my words
Between kisses at the nape of her neck
Behind her ears
It takes effort , but even at the top of her spine I reach
Her genetical need to want to know
Ask me " How come I can't lover her the way she
Loves me " and " Why can't I commit"?
She barely gets the last words out
Before she sighs "ooooh" from my palms embrace
of her nipples
I tell her "I love her more than she will ever know or understand
"But why?'
She can't complete the thought
As I can feel tht goose bumps on her skin flare up
From my hand quickly trailing down to tease the nerve endings
of her clit
"But why what"
I whisper as I slide one then two
Fingers into her Nile Valley
The touch seems to soothe her
As I can almost feel the pressure release out of
Her body as my chest is to her back
"But why can't you put me first"? She finally gets out
Knowing that she got her inquiry out
She stops massaging my leg
She now reaches between hers
To grab and sensually stroke my Afriken walking stick
I squeeze her and tell her
"Your not playing fair"
I can feel her smile while saying "what'?
Cupping her leg apart with my hand
She knows my intentions
She guides me inside her Heaven
With a slight thrust from the hip
I feel complete
Whole almost
A perfect fit
With neither of us rushing
And no intent on stopping
We both give slight gyrating grinds
I answer her
"You ask me that question because you don't understand me"
She wants to detatch her mind from her body
I can feel it
But I won't allow her
I continue
"Baby, you can't base our love or relationship off of some
Shit out there"
She trys to to speak but I cut her off
"I need you to understand I am a man with a cause,
A purpose, unfortunately I am not afforded
The luxury of time to waste just to be
Lesiure
When we first met you was attracted to my
Cause to change, to appease your desire
For quality time
The only quality time we can have together is the
Time we spend engulfed in the movement
She pleads
"But baby why"? "It's so many things I
Want to do. So many experiences we
Be missing because your not here.
I feel like you don't love me".
I told her, I said
"Baby I love you deeply but I love the
Struggle more.....
Me inside her and
She enveloping me
Neither thirsting the chase for climax
But both pleading
For the other to not under
But over-stand
With no more music in the background
The rain completely stopped
candles finally flickered out
Just me and my love
Intertwined
Enjoying each other
Not knowing how to proceed
Questioning if we should proceed
A void in time
An abscence of every other thing in mind
Just a fragment of a night spent
A piece of the conversation
Pillow Talk With A Revolutionary.....

For You

This is for you and all you have done.
You brighten my day like the mid July sun.
You taught me new things and helped me show the way.
To think about it its hard to find the words to say
At first I never knew where my words would start
How they all just came from the heart
You didn’t judge me for what I’ve done
Instead we talked and had some fun
One of these days I know I’ll be free
And able to help you the way you helped me
What can I say you have been a great friend
And I know it’s in you I can depend.
And if there’s anything in your heart you need to share
Just always know that I’ll be there.

Some of Me

I breathe threw my heart and exhale threw my feet.
Sometimes my hands push me away from me.
Keeping us focused on what’s best.
Talking with my eyes, stops the stress.
Listening to books molds my mind.
Profiling others takes away from the timely essence.
The true meaning of the thoughts and intellect that they kept in.
Around me is to short, but what lives in me is forever.
To share it with others, makes me better.

Hugging your kisses is so sweet
Seeing you happy spreads my teeth
Holding on to your words cause they mean so much
The clock watches everything and time clocks your movements
My words can mean night and day threw your cluing
To comfort you threw your troubles and soothing
Pleased to see you feel the way I feel
Ignoring others because you spoke so real
Perception from my other half stepping me to a better path
Tattoos on my body tell my past
I’m an illustrated guide to my dictionary inside
Reaching beyond the weak saying they see no other way
Lost hope
Making it happen because I never choke
Faith, that’s the man in me and we see no other way.
Rather die loyal than give you the time of day
The oppressor using your norm to pursue my dreams
Flower pot full of seeds, blossoming out from the strength in me

Tired of smoking laughing trees that make me eat like a pig due to the THC
Getting drunk aint no fun when your stupid and stuck
Tearing up from throw-up, your bodys rejection
Screaming to be heard but wont be let in
Love be the water I need
Knowledge be the tree I breathe
A part of me is the sun
I feed to stop me from being lost from me…….

Confused

Lord help me.
Cause I’m so blinded by the devil I can’t see.
Lord you suppose to protect my soul.
But everyday I question is heaven the place to go.
Send me a sign.
Unless I used all of my lifelines.
And if my lifelines are no more
Let me know so my mother co-sign me through your doors.
Please answer this young boy’s cry for help.
Because I am leaning towards advocation for the devil.

My thoughts at night

As I look at my cell wall I begin to think is this me
Is this the destiny my life has in store for me,
Is this all the pain that I can see……

We say change is great and chances are slim,
But all I see are bars at night when my lights are dim…..

The call for freedom is my fight
Because I no longer want these nightmares, I see day and night….

What is these nightmares that I speak of
Is it the sound of my toilet, is it the sound of my sink
Or is it the dream of passion that makes me think……..

My thoughts at night is a everlasting Fight and the will for me to know
Is something within my heart and still continue to grow…..

As I look at my cell wall, I begin to think its me
But I come to the conclusion it is my self denial I see…..

There’s nothing more

There is nothing more loving
More wonderful
Then having a sister as you
Sweet and gentle
Strengths and independence speaks
The essence of your name
A real woman characteristic
You manifest to the fullest

There is nothing more loving
More wonderful
Then having a sister as you
So do allow me
This apology
For the pain I cost you coming up
Young and wilding while
Capture to the life of the streets
Kept me out of reach
From you, still
None of the attraction replaces
The love I have for you
Still those attractions
Separated me farther
Away from you

RAP

I met this guy, they call him RAP
Although he is complicated and deep you’ll soon adapt
He is swift and smart and smooth as silk
And it has nothing to do with him always drinking milk
He used to be my work out buddy
However, now he is always at his office, while I am getting muddy
I wouldn’t trade his friendship for gold
But I will always be his friend and very bold
If I was given one wish in life for someone dear
It would be for my main man RAP who is always near

What does it look like out there?

What does it look like out there?
I have been gone
For so long
I know what I imagine is wrong
But my passion is strong
And all I am asking
Is for these masks
To be detached
And discarded before it becomes a fatal attraction
“the blood of my ancestors boils within my veins”
Pain from the temperature rises
With every surprise
Society designs as disguises
So,
Why is it
That my condition is not my decision?
Yet, my decision to transform my condition
Is penetrated by the incentives
Of different enmities
Friendly enemies (if there is such)
Stand my position
And open my eyes
Looking miles past the wines
And decide whether life
Is a fantasy or just fanatically real
You try dreaming between cement and steel
And feel what it like is
To bleed from a womb
That is already been healed
An immense feeling of gratitude
Fades with every soul
That you steal
And still
I allow every essential element of love
To envelop my tears
Tears that are neither fallen, nor forgotten
But rather,
The fuel used for the fire
That reside in my breath
My eyes and my chest
Do you know when was the last time
I had a fresh breath of air?
I forgot what that shit taste like.

This picture I drew

When I drew you, I thought about your touch!
I thought about looking into your eyes
Hearing your voice and remembering your cry
I thought about the special things you do
The ways you made me laugh or how you would move!

Your hair, your eyes, your lips, your breast
Oh where should I begin? Oh what should I choose?
It’s like when I met you I was lost and confused
I needed someone, “I am just glad it was you!”
I believe you’re an angel, “yes this is true!”
Yes I was lonely and drinking some booze,
My life just fell apart, so how could I lose?

We had fun, danced, travelled, made love and the time just flew!
But then I made some bad decisions,
“Yes there was a few!”
My behavior landed me here in prison, “now I must give the devil his due.”
This is such a high price and yes it makes me blue

But I thank God for my life, the memories and this picture I drew!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Behind these walls

Behind these walls darkness does exist
However, there is still a lot of bliss
Although, we don’t move, we travel far
Because we are seeking to find our own star
I’m determine to make the right choice
But I know I must stick to my course
I’ve met some beautiful people along the way
Who has encouraged me
I’ll be okay some day
I constantly pray to God incessantly
Because I know without him there would be no me

Happiness is...

My salutation read, “You can write my epitaph Happiness death by OD – 134-307.”
Bank robber, drug addict, not a recipe for heaven.
What can wash my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus?
What can make me whole again….
Time equals significance, 36 years, 18 years,
Too many years masking too many tears, revealing too many fears.
Tears and fears entwined in my words:
“When I’m sad alone and all seems lost,
I think of my freedom and how much it will cost.
I think of my parents and how they must feel,
To see me in prison and know it is for real.
I know it is my fault and now I must pay,
But help me dear God I have something to say.
Iambic pentameter circa’72
I know she will be back and I hope that she is found
Love is better the second time around
I keep saying she will be back.
Today again I lied.
120-138, no deliverance, no light, seeds were planted,
It is getting late.
Lucky my man, why don’t you write.
I’m on Death Row, might not make it through the night.
Pity the man minus love in his life and no hope in sight.
Three all beef patties, pickles, onions, on a sesame bun,
Where did that come from?
Courtyard, life, I’m suffocating, run, run, run.
If both of us are talking, who’s listening?
To the sound of our whispered aches and pains
To the sound of “Our father who art in heaven hallowed by thy name.”
What can wash away my sings nothing but the blood….
What can make me whole again….
Home again, family, free at last,
I was the problem it wouldn’t last.
Fringe benefits, trappings galore,
After six months, the future seemed secure.
Unresolved issues surfaced on night.
Didn’t mean to say it…Thank God there was no fight.
I’ll always love my mom she’s my favorite girl…
Papa was a rolling stone, spent most of his time
Chasing women and drinking
Built up animosity/hatred wrapped up in euphemism – dad.
We were both sad.
He couldn’t say love, much less show it…
To my mother, me to no one but…..
It wasn’t her fault; she loved us and tried to insure that our needs were met
She wasn’t our mom, but she loved us like one.
I will always love my Mom…
Papa stopped rolling, but he was still stone cold.
Plans aborted by a dye packet that exploded
Makes me wanna holler and throw up both my hands.
Who is willing to try?
To save a world that is destined to die,
Children today, really suffer tomorrow.
Oh, what a shame such a bad way to live.
Too proud to cry so I might as well try
To put in words how I really feel.
I talk about lames ‘cause that was me,
Give me a pencil and paper to write all the things
Say all the things I should have said before, I love you!!!
Did so much faking could’ve won an award,
No more questions I can’t answer, no more apologies for the things I didn’t do.
No more outburst of tears that I can’t kiss away
Just playing the greatest role of my life 134-307
Give myself a standing ovation, a legend in my own mind
Slip, counter, double up the hookm
Throw ever punch that’s in the book but a loser in life and all that matters
New saw the forest, there were too many tears
If a tree fell in the forest and no one was there
Would it make a sound??
A legacy in words is a difficult task
Look in the mirror and remove the mask
See St. Gabriel’s, President of the class
10th grade expelled, it wouldn’t last
Don’t look away, the mirror don’t lie
Uncried tears and bloodshot eyes
Read between the lines, the words not spoken
You’ll uncover a legacy, a life that was broken
A masterpiece, designed by the Master
In spite of myself, I avoided a disaster.
The truth is not what you really see,
MO says Bank robber, addict but that is not me!
Pontificate, punctuate, procrastinate, prevaricate, please elucidate – HELP!
Without the cold, desolation of winter, there couldn’t be the warmth and splendor of spring.
Life minus Melanie will mean no ring, ring, ring….Hello!!
Best man, maid of honor, rice, bouquets, the whole nine yards
Michelle Imani, the child of promise.
Laughter and joy, my life complete.
I am falling….up, yo and away.
EXTRA – EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT!!
The legacy was right…The legacy was right.
My name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.
I broke the mold and found streets paved with gold.
Amen & Amen!!

Depths of Perception

Walking through my Garden of Eden
In the early morning hours,
I smell the freshness of a new day
Brought forth by the sweet morning dew
Silky grass tickles my toes
As the scent of rosemary entices my nose
The rising sun captures my view
My skin is moistened by the sweet morning dew
Pondering the moment
As my senses absorb this scene
I am struck by a realization
This is perfection
Peace…awareness…appreciation…connection…perfection
But my perception of perfection is due
To the fact that this moment, in this garden, is the best I ever knew.
Ah…catching my eye with a shimmer,
What is this that I now see?
My God…a freshly blossomed flower;
It must have blossomed this very hour!
Its beauty enhanced by the sweet morning dew,
This scene, this image, this flower
Brings forth perfection anew

Queen of my soul

Intelligence…Strong…Independent…
Modesty..Fidelity…Confidence…
Dwells on her heart
This queen possess an firing’ soul
Yes! She possess an firing soul
With luster beauty
Her character resembles strength…
Temperance…Obedience and humility
Her luv enriches my heart
With enrapture joy
This queen of my soul
Stand firm on my side
When down heart in the mist of pain
Her love forever brighten through
The madness of rain
Withstanding my stubborn ego
That at time makes me narcissistic
My queen, my angel
My sufficient lover perpetually keeping
Her king above the water of chaos
From storming seas
From my tempting thoughts and desires
Never once you gave up on me
Even when I fail and wanted to give up processing my dreams
The firmness of your love
Taught me inner strength
Gave me hope when faith left a friend
Gave me reverence when others was disloyal
Gave me her all & all
The queen of my soul
Forever our will continuously grow

Simplicity

Oh, what a life, once you stop there, you may not be able to start back up. Caution ends – cowardice begins. Man what sights and sounds of pain lie beneath my mist…
I am in a jungle here; a wild and savage place that is even runs with souls.
To be intelligent, conscious, or virtuous is an unspeakable sin…
To dare to think differently is a lack of respect…
To speak with truth cannot be tolerated even…
So a spirit of high value is suspect
This may appear ridiculous to some but this place is lay, I know I must say..
As I fight to be free, this place – mocks me and digs its claws deeper into my very soul
So I may remain free, the oath to my spirit must be renewed. Every day!
My struggle moves more in my favor with inner clarity.
I feel life, my strength flowing into my body with simplicity.

A critique essay on "Revolution will BE televised!!! by Halima"

You know that feeling you get when you’re asleep and suddenly it seems like someone just smacked the shit out of you. You wake up chasing dreams that felt so real. Then your mind raises attention to every little detail around you. And you ask yourself, “Why the hell did I wake up? What in heavens woke up from paradise? I was perfectly fine where I was, comfortable with my position. And as hard as I’m trying I just can’t seem to fall back into that dream. Fuck it, Let’s see what reality is all about”?
What’s devastating to our existence is the fact that the majority of our entire society (no matter what side of the fence they walk) uses this radiant race card as an excuse to infuse justice on either side of the argument. One says, “Ahh… That is not fair. You are using the race card.” While the other actually believes that he or she has a race card that trumps any other card we can imagine. A race card? I agree that there is no such race card – when in fact, its racism that manipulates, and eventually humiliates, the truth. But the truth will never be eliminated because somebody, somewhere with some form of righteousness will speak. And in these times that is considered a revolutionary act.
Here is the truth: Obama’s mama is as white as the house he lives in. And his father was even blacker than the inside of your eyelids. Yet, nearly our entire society (no matter what side of the fence they walk) could not see anything but the inside of their eyelids. We are literally sleep walking through reality. Unconscious, not by choice, but by ignorance. And, George Orwell also said “They will never rebel because they are not conscious, but they cannot become conscious until they rebel.”
At home, being told to keep a distance between you and the “ghetto” because it might drag you to the graveyard is like saying everywhere outside of the “ghetto” will keep you safe from death. Anywhere outside of the “ghetto” will protect you from harm as if accidents do not happen. As if sick minded individuals who kidnap babies and raise them as their own for decades before they story unfolds will never live outside of the “ghetto.” Or, men who represent the voice of that divine energy will never molest innocent, young children before they have ever had a chance for their first kiss. No, not here. Only the “ghetto” manufactures drugs and guns. Only the “ghetto” will ever produce teenagers, driven by hate, infiltrate a school, armed with fully loaded assault rifles and semi-automatic pistols assassinating students after asking, “Do you believe in GOD?”
See, I was told knowing prisoners would cloud my vision and make me weak hearted. The only thing is I was already kind hearted to begin with. And I remember someone distinctively telling me to never take kindness for weakness. Then I became a prisoner and met political prisoners that never attempted to cloud my vision, but instead cleared my vision. Basically, prescribing a conscious prescription so I never see cleared now the pain is gone. I can see what lady liberty really looks like without her make up. I can see that Justice’s complexion was never white or black but green. Green as the skin of capitalism. Green as the eyes of George Washington. I can’t trust anything when it comes to money because everything I see George Washington he has a slight smile on his face. Not the genuine, swee smile that assures me everything is going to be all right. No, it’s that evil, deceitful smile that has me feeling like he is saying “Yea Nigga I got YOU…And you can’t do a damn thing about it!!!”
But, can I? Can you? Can we do anything about our present condition? Sure, but not just by overcoming your quietness and shyness and sharing sincere words of your inner most ideas and love for justice. Because when that opportunity does occur to make a difference it is impossible to be quiet or shy. Your love for humanity overrides any pressure you place on yourself. But by listening to the voices screaming to be heard, and transporting their message across boarders knowing it will fall on deaf ears, lost souls, and minds intoxicated by every “-ism” that weaves fabrics of fabrication  then call it moral fiber within our homes. Yes, we can make a difference.
Just listen and become the voice speaking truth. Listen and become the revolution that will not only be Televised, but a revolution that will BE LIVE…and in color!

I am always inspired

I am inspired by freedom
Freedom to think, freedom to change
I am inspired by love
I am inspired by pain
I am inspired by the young
I am inspired by the old
I am inspired by the fierce
And most definitely the bold
I am inspired by life
And how it was lived
I am inspired by the compassion
Of those who forgive
I am inspired by challenge
I am inspired by will
I am inspired by toughness
And those honest enough to be real
I guess
I am always inspired
