Reflection

Silent walls
Expose my faults
I am as lost as the shadow
Casted over these common words
Which harbor the purity
Of my thoughts.
Inspiration cultivates between the bars
While I watch the sky undress
Revealing her scars
Beauty emerges from patience
Is it strange
That I stumble over serenity
Within this realm of isolation?
Is it abnormal
To enjoy the deprivation?
Though,
They limit me physically,
Intended to smother me in misery
The simplicity heightens my awareness
Thoughts flickers
In my mind
Repeatedly,
When they stop
The silent walls reflect
My truest enemy.
