For how long will I gaze at this man-made device
That can depict a love nonexistent in this world?
I absord Ghost and come to tears
With a feeling the tragedy of true love lost.
Then my heart feels a prick of pain -
Does true love like this even truly exist
Outside of Hollywood's protrayal?
Is something so profound...so rare...even real?
Or is it just an unreachable ideal?
I may never know...
I continue to live vicariously
Through a man-made device
That depicts Hollywood's ideals -
The ideals we all long for
But can experience no where else.
